THE new Nokia 7 Plus is now available to pre-order as it's revealed the mid-range smartphone will go on sale next month.

The all-new Nokia 7 Plus is now available to pre-order in the UK.

This latest mid-range device was announced at Mobile World Congress in February and offers premium specs at a very low price.

HMD Global, the company behind the Nokia phone re-launch, says the 7 Plus will be available to buy from EE, Carphone Warehouse, Amazon, John Lewis, Tesco and Argos for £349.99 from May 2.

For that price you get a device that features a vivid 6-inch Full HD+ display, dual rear ZEISS-branded camera and decent Snapdragon 660 processor.

There's also a big 3800 mAh battery which HMD is boasting brings the Nokia 7 Plus an amazing 2-day battery life.

The Nokia 8110 has been rebooted

Like all of the latest Nokia smartphones, the 7 Plus offers one of purest Android experiences on the market with the firm stating that users are guaranteed the latest Google innovations and regular security updates.

By shipping with Android Oreo out of the box, owners will able to enjoy the latest features, including Picture-in-Picture for multitasking, Android Instant Apps to discover and run apps with minimal friction, 60 fantastic new emojis and battery-maximising features like limiting background app use.

Sarah Edge, General Manager of UK & Ireland, HMD Global, said: “We know our fans are capturing, watching, working and gaming more on their mobile phones than ever so they need a device which delivers a great experience and doesn’t cut out on them when they need it most.

"2-day battery life is something we are known for and we are excited to be able offer this on a smartphone which is powerful, beautiful and has great imaging.”

Nokia 7 Plus UK release has now been revealed

Here's the full availability and prices.

• The Nokia 7 Plus is available on 2nd May for a RRP of £349.99 and comes in Black/Copper.

• A free Google Home Mini bundle is offered to all customers for the first month of sales.

• Pre-orders are available from Nokia.com from 18th April and other retailers from 25th April.

Along with the Nokia 7 Plus the firm also recently revealed its new 8110 feature phone.

The budget device sees the return of the classic 90's slider design.

This allows users to answer and end calls via a simple flick of the case and it also means the keys are covered when the phone is tucked in your pocket.

The 8110, which was nicknamed the "banana phone" due to its curved shape, was a huge hit in the 90s with it immortalised in the classic Matrix movies.

4G download speeds, access to Facebook and a ridiculous 25-day battery life are also featured as is the all-important inclusion of the Snake game.
